Incursions, Excursions, Kissing Cousins...

In case any of you had missed out any of our recent excursions, well to be exact it's the kind that doesn't venture beyond the confines of that bum-loving bitumen square where the dirt marks encrusted there were circumspect signatures of soiled bums from who knows where it drips from. Drippings aside, pray your nasal senses do not pick up scents other than lavenders, but this is the arena of happennings.

Well, this excursion is of the cullinary delights which our delightful members whip it up somewhere and brought it at every beginning and tailend of the week - since I dunno when. Did you taste Mei's darkchoc-mint cake yesterday? Unbelievable! And gosh! Eddie's souffle butter cake. Man! It was out of this world. LayHooi's brown-sugar jelly with coconut-milk toppings? Wahh...makes me wanna cry like baby for more. Then there's guaguang's clean-up acts from his fridge - if you do not notice the moss on the edges, his nihon tidbits are always a surprise to chew upon - I remember something smelling like late granny's sarong. And our gourmets did all this in excellent manners that could rival that of Victorian charm - minus the impossible rigidity and corsets - the servings come in as pristine condition as it ought to be - warm dark glutinous broth (layhooi, muaccks!) or cold beers that comes really chilled (guaguang - you da man).
Gadbejasus! All this had been sinfully edifying, I am holding my knuckles white waiting for heavenly delirium, mmm whom might it be...

One couldn't help imagining what these ladies and guys did in their kitchens, and err...erstwhile elsewhere! Our lil running club is evolving into a morph between gourmets and esoteric runners and a not too unusual battleground - the girth - the excursions that induce the incursions.

Of kissing cousins? Dude, turn a chapter for group behavioral chronicles.

BDRC Banner and Dinner Updates

We are trying to have the above banner printed (wh: 8x3 feet) for general-purpose usage, and we hope to have it slung somewhere during our coming dinner. At this point of post, we have bookings for up to five(5) tables for our dinner.

FYI: Our planned 8-course dinner, is likely to be changed to buffet style dinner (indoor compared to our earlier poolside). This is due to popular requests from members. Pls let me know asap if you have any other preference.

Anyway, the printer-people suggested to have the image saved in actual measurements and in TIFF format. Actual measurements? My imaging tools don't have that function. Photoshop perhaps, but where's the registration code (Hui, help pls?)

Suggestions for banner?
