BDRC Establishment

BDRC was established in the year of 2007, August 8th.
BDRC is an acronym for Bukit Dumbar Runners Club.
Officially we are not registered (yet) but our gathering place is at Taman Bukit Dumbar, Penang, West Malaysia. This shall act as our official conference point for the time being. However if there is a need to make official paper-route correspondence with us, you may email us and we will give you the provisional address.

You may contact us through this email account (bdrcpg at gmail dot com).

Right now we are in the midst of preparing our members running attires which will be given to each member upon signing up. Join us now for all the fun in running whether competitive or mere leisure.
More updates (with photos) will be posted soon, so ensure that you make frequent visits to our site and send us your suggestions where you see them as noteworthy, or just send in your greetings - during your first visits. Regular patronage make us feel that we are doing something worthwhile for the community. Announce your presence, so that we know who has been here.

You may download our membership-recruitment form here http://us.f13.yahoofs.com/bc/4434e150mee8495bb/bc/BDRC/BDRC+membership+recruitment.ppt?bfiG47GBrBhTSctC

Email back to us your completed form or submit in person to me at our gathering place - inclusive of joining fees.

For BDRC,
Theo (club secretary)

Hi Raymond,
Thanks for the wishes, it's nice to have your comments here, we appreciate that.

This is a very casual setup (likened to a potluck gathering), minus all the redtapes and features that are found in profit-driven orgs. The group serves to give our members a sense of identity when they go for competitions, which right now, even though we have a loosely gathered group but each of us run on our own when it comes to competition. Anyone can join us, even the occasional pot-bellied jogger - only joining fees required.

We hope you keep visiting our blog and to maintain site attraction, soon we'll feature some happenning pictures.

Cheers,
Theo
